Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Are landlords required by law to provide carbon monoxide detectors in California (Hawthorne or Inglewood) ?
If I suspect Carbon Monoxide Poisining, and hire someone to check out my apartment, is the landlord responsible to pay the bill? and/or medical checkup as well?

Re: Carbon Monoxide Detectors
You might check with the City. I could find no such requirement from the State of California
