could i take a case to court sueing my friend for the amount of $ 1000 lone without a proof, i have no check frome him, or any promisory note that shows i have lended him the money?

You mean would you be successful in a Small Claims Court action. Depends upon how both of you impress the judge; if you can prove your friend lied about something related to the transaction you might win. The burden is on you to show a slightly more than 50% likehood that he owes you the money. If he comes off as being honest and denies getting any money from you, you probably will loss. You have to remember in the future not to lend money to anyone.
