Just case for eviction
The new Lake Pines Apartment manager sent a letter to all tenants. Is this portion legal:
''Tenant paying rent five days after the due date on three separate occasions within any twelve month period shall constitute habitual late payment of rent and may be considered a just cause for eviction.''

You could be served with a 3-day notice to pay rent or quit if you haven't paid, but you still have an opportunity to cure the breach by paying the rent plus late charges. Still, to avoid 3-day notices and late fees, you will probably want to pay on time if they plan to follow that policy.
