Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

commission dispute

I'm an R.E. Agent. I have RLA that seller cancelled. My (former) broker said that we would not cancel. A letter requesting mediation was sent to seller. Selling party will not agree to mediate. Need to go to arbitration but with different broker now.

What is the question? If it involves the terms of the agreement, we can not answer it without seeing those terms.

Re: commission dispute

I am assuming you are the listing agent and proccured a buyer willing and able to meet the sellers terms, then the seller cancels. You are entitled to your commission. A motion to compel arbitration is the next step. You need a real estate attorney. You can visit my website casedismissed.us go to the real estate page.
