Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Condo Rental Liabililty

I have a condo in San Diego and pay HOA fees every month. I plan to rent it. If the HOA fees cover casualty and liability insurance to the common area and if a tenant buys renter's insurance, what else should I do to protect my condo, which is half paid-off, from potential rental liabilities? Thanks in advance.

You can obtain a landlord insurance policy.

You should ask your insurance agent, as coverages for the policies you describe vary.
