Condo

I sold my condo but i was told the loans would under ny name until next Feb. The new owner is paying late. she is not returning my calls. what can i do? can i file a complaint with DRE?

Who told you this? If it was someone licensed by the DRE, sure, you can complain to them, but unless the statement was incorrect and also represents a fraud or a dereliction of duty on the part of the licensee, you probably won't get far.

Usually, when real property is sold, the existing loans are paid off in escrow unless there is a negotiated, explicit arrangement for the buyer to assume the loan.

I think your starting point before you complain to anyone is to sit down with the real estate licensee that represented you and ask for a full and understandable explanation. If you made this deal without using an agent or broker, I'm not sure the DRE would be interested; in that case, you should consult a real-estate lawyer.
