Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Condominium rules

We purchased a condo in june of 2006. The condo came with W/D connections in the patio. Condo board says it is not allowed and to remove and fined us $500. Are we required to remove it if condo was bought this way.

Re: Condominium rules

You are probably going to be liable to have the W/D connections removed and pay the fine and future fines in the event they are not removed entirely from your unit. Of course, this all depends on whether you are actually violating the community CC&R's. As others have suggested, you should have an attorney review your governing documents to see if the Board can continue enforcement against you.

Good Luck!

Can't tell without reviewing lots of condominium documents. This will require a fee since it is time consuming.
