Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

I was a co-signer for my exfiance on a harley motorcycle. He has had it for going on 6 months, He can know longer make the payments. I had to make last months payment. Is there a way to take the motorcycle if I have to keep paying on it. Im trying to buy a house and not make this a neg on my credit rpt.

If you are a co-signer, you may or may not be on title to the vehicle. If you are, you can force a sale, but probably will have to go to court to do it. If you are not on title, you can't even do that. All you can do is sue him for the payments you have to make.
