Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

co-signer's non-interest in real property

Is there a form for co-signer, on mortgage loan, indicating he/she has no interest in real property? Co-signer is simply co-signing for relative.

I am not sure why they would do that. The problem is that the co-signer is still responsible for the loan. They sould have some sort of written agreement between them. If the person who "has an interest" in the property doesn't pay, the co-signer's credit is ruined and they would have to go to great expense to get them out.
