How do I go about correcting a name on the need. It reads ___________ a married woman as HIS sole and separate property.

Who prepared the deed? Go back to them and have them correct it.

A typo like that won't affect the validity or transferability of the deed.
Unless you are _really_ bugged about it, I wouldn't sweat it.
