Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Custody Battle Unpaid & Ready to Reclaim

Signed a quitclaim back in 98 for 15k in consideration. 5K to be at execution & 5K @ 5th yr. Paid $4K @ execution & 3yrs ago got judgement for rest but nothing paid so far. Wage garnishment thrown out too. Now I want to stop all this and if poss get property back. Can this be reversed? He is bleeding the equity for drugs I think. Our childs future hinges on this, please help. This custody seems to be going all in his favor @ my expense. My child should not be brought into this anymore.

Can the house be sold? What are my options to turn this around once & for all?

Thank you so very much in advance for replying.

Was this a part of the Marital Settlement Agreement? For child support the D.A.'s office is helpful. Call me directly at 1.619.222.3504.

Your inquiry does not make sense to me. If you have a "judgment", then you can execute against the property and obtain an order that the property be sold as satisfaction for the debt owed, but this is not something you can do alone, as it is complex and requires legal counsel. Also, if you have a judgment, why did you not seek judical foreclosure in the same action wherein you got the judgment? It may be that you don't have a civil "judgment", but you are referring to a property settlement agreement after a dissolution; if so, go back to the attorney who represented you in the dissolution and request that he or she pursue your ex for recompense.
