My damaged wall
My neighbors' tree growth has done real damage to our wall. He is uncooperative. What recourse do I have?

Depending on the amount of the damage, small claims or superior court.

The small claims ceiling is now $7,500. If the damage is less than, say, about $10,000, you're better off scaling down your claim so as to take advantage of the quick and cheap small claims process. The appropriate causes of action (type of claims) are trespass and private nuisance.
