Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
def of "common area" or "premises"on 'CAR' rental agreement in terms of smoking OUTSIDE the house. is it legal to smoke outside the house when paragraph 14 is checked. without being in breach of contract.
Ps. CAR = California Association of Realtors
i think that paragraph was put there so people don't smoke IN THE HOUSE

"Common area" would include areas shared by you with other tenants, and would be outside the house..........shared walkways, gardens, maybe garages, maybe a pool area, etc.
