what is the difference between duress and coercion

what is the difference between coercion and duress. i was assaulted and battered and harrased into a contract. i want to void the contract. i am trying to see which on applies here. im thinking more duress than coercion. i also havent reported the assault and battery, will that help me in the pusuit of my solution?

If you coerce me to do something, I am acting under duress. You can rescind the contract under the facts you describe and sue for damages for assault and battery.
