Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Became disabled during leaseing agreement of commercial site.

I was in A car accident, and became disabled and unabled to work and manage my store. For the last seven months I have been paying the rent. Sales as continuely fallen down. I have twenth-three months remaining on my lease. I can not afford to keep the store open. What can I do to get out of the remanding time of the lease.

You can't, short of filing bankruptcy.

Try to find a new tenant to take over your lease, or negotiate a reduced buyout with the landlord. Do not abandon the premises ... then they will have the right to terminate your right to find a new tenant.
