Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My employer has an Articles of Incorporation for his Mortgage company. He would like to appointment a new individual as the "Broker of Records". What would be the proper procedure to add this individual to the company and which individual has the authority to do so?

I'm not specialized in this area but I would think that this would be something regulated by the Department of Real Estate regulations relating to real estate mortgage brokers. Check the Business & Professions Code and DRE regulations, which I'm sure your company is already familiar with.
