Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Hello. I entered into an agreement with someone to allow them to park a camper on my property for $50 per month. It was supposed to be a few months or so. It has been about 8 months now. They have not paid for the past two payments. I sent a certified letter telling them to remove it by 10/22/10 and they did not pick the letter up. I have numerous text messages going back to 8-3-10 when I asked them to remove the camper. They have sent a couple of text messages back saying someone would show up to get it, but they dont show up. What are my legal rights and obligations to legally remove the camper? Can I tow it to a street and call the city to take it to a tow yard? Unfortunately I cannot find the original agreement. Do I need to put a lien on it? I can get copies of a few of the checks where they paid to show how much it was per month. They owe me money but I am more worried about getting rid of the thing. Thank you.

If you have an agreement, it might give you insight as to your next move. Otherwise, it is probably safe to give them a formal written notice asking them to remove the camper within 30 days or you'll have it towed at their expense.
