Escrow
If i live in a building that is in escrow, do i have to pay rent?

Absolutely. Whomever owns the building on the date the rent is due is entitled to the rent.
They will be required to notify you in writing of a change of where rent should be paid. You will not be responsible for paying the wrong party if they do not notify you adequately.

Yes, you owe rent. The question is to whom do you owe the rent. The owner of the property is owed the rent. And if you pay on the first you might want to check on the first to see who owns the place.

You owe the rent to the building's owner--when the change occurs, you will receive notice concerning where to send the rent to the new owner.
