Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Evicted from residence after I moved out!

After being fired by the attorneys representing my late boss and owner of the house I stayed at, they offered to pay me some moneys for work I had done to the house and moving expenses, I agreed and moved out, but instead of sending me the check, they initiated eviction proceedings... I was legaly (?)

evicted about 4 months after I had moved out and left the State. When I heard what they were doing I contacted the court but was told to get an attorney, with out a job or the moneys promissed I could not afford one so I could do nothing at the time...

The attorney lied to me and then lied to the court, can I do anything about this?

Thank You

Re: Evicted from residence after I moved out!

File a complaint with the Bar Association if you have any proof the attorneys lied in court. Seems awfully strange to sue for unlawful detainer after the tenant has moved out.
