Eviction

I own my own home. My boyfriend has been living with me for about a year and half. This was only suppose to be a temporary situation. He has only paid me $700.00 since July 2000. I have asked him to leave but he will not. How do I evict him from my home and does he have to be served by someone other than myself?

Re: Eviction

You may serve him with a 3 day notice to pay rent or quit, then file an unlawful detainer action. The summons and complaint must be served by another.
