My father in law quit claim deeded 13 pieces of property to my husband he has destroyed deeds since we won a judgement by default when suit was filed 1property listed on suit 1 amendment of suit is allowed, can we add other 12 properties or do we restart?

I'm not sure what exactly you are asking for. If you are in a lawsuit, and have filed a complaint, you can file a motion for leave to file an amended complaint, adding additional allegations and causes of action. It is not clear, however, where you are in the litigation, as there are special rules that govern these types of motions. I suggest you speak to an attorney, and provide more detail.
If you have a judgment, as you said, that case is over and done with. You have to file a new lawsuit about any other properties. If you only have a default, but not a default judgment, you can file an amendment without a motion, which will set aside the default and allow him to file an answer.
