Yes I did. Its was a fine from the government for selling Illegal cable boxes. Its NOT a TAX Fine or Restitution. he received 4 yrs in jail and a $ 350,00 fine. I don't know how else i can explain it. I guess nowadays jail time just isn't good enough. They have to slap you with a huge fine as well, so you can't modify your loan and you lose your house. I know the Declared homestead does not protect you from tax liens but the government is saying is doesn't matter, All fines from the Government supersede the homestead.
