Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

foreclosure, loan modification, bankruptcy

June was the 3rd and last month in

our forbearance period before our 1st

mortgage loan mod is reviewed to go

permanant. Meanwhile, the 2nd

charged off and refused to modify,

forcing us to work towards ch. 7. We

paid our June 1st mortgage ($3180),

only intending to buy us more time

before declaring ch. 7 since the

notice of default sale date was June

24th. WAMU hasn't cashed June

mortgage yet... Given new

foreclosure moratorium today,6/15,

should I stop payment on my

mortgage check, or could WAMU still

'kick me out' by the June 24th sale

date with the moratorium in place

because they were trying to modify

our loan? How does this new

legislation work?

What's wrong with you? You're here asking and re-asking your question, and you're still holding back on essential facts like what's so all-fired important about June 15th, when you should be calling lawyers. Your fingers should ache by now from calling lawyers.
