how long after foreclosure do owners have to move out?

The buyer at the foreclosure sale must give the occupants a Notice to Quit. The notice period is 3 days if the occupants are the former owners and 30 days if the occupants are former renters. If they do not vacate, then you must file an eviction lawsuit called an unlawful detainer action.
