had started modification of loan in april 08 resubmitted all documents in mid june08, trustee sale june17. was told by mod.dept to wait 3-4 wks for response by mail(verbaly)house was sold july23 recieved posting to vacate july 31 other postings and phone calls to leave went to court and lock out date was jan 5 2009 i am still in the house i am divorced and live there with my 3 kids have owned home for 20 yrs considerable ammount of equity any way to stay in our home? was told about lis pendens,stupid of me not to file bankruptcy

With a sizable amount of equity in the house, you should be at an attorney's office with all of your documents rather that hoping for a solution over the internet. You will not get the answer here. The issues are too complex.
