Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I was found guily of DV and they took my knives and guns away. I had a gun dealer pick them up and my knives and clip were destroyed. Can they do that with out notifing me?

You posted in the wrong category. What is "DV". Who destroyed the knives? Why did they? What did the court rule?

I guess DV means domestic violence, but destruction of forfeited property is usually appropriate only if it has no significant market value. Review with your defense attorney or, if none, ask the public defender's office if this was appropriate in the circumstances. This question should be posted under criminal law, not real estate.
