I bought a property with a roomate,I was the main byer, my inglish was not good at that time, and she told me to sign a paper so that we both will get mail by both of our names,i trusted her and sign the paper, she then waited one year later she went to the city hall and change the tittles' name, she basically put me out of the house, and keep the house, I read the paper with the little inglish that I know I undestand I gave the property to her as a present, but that was never explain to me, she said it was just to have the bill come to her name to. can I report her to someone?,Or have someone do sometihng about this case, thank you in advance for your advice!

If what you say is true, and there are no other important facts you didn't mention, you are a victim of fraud and you may be able to get back your property. I mean, of course, the part of the property that should be yours based on the money paid as a down-payment.

Depending on the total facts, you may have a claim for fraud. Normally, in California, the failure to read or understand a document before signing it is not a very good basis for fraud, but the other facts, may help to support your claim. this may or not be fraud based on your facts given so far. it sounds like she clearly took advantage of your lack of english language skills in reading what you were signing. but you may also be charged with having the opportunity as an adult to seek legal advice on what you were signing prior to signing the agreement.
