Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
A friend of mine has a timeshare and my friend wants to give me ownership of the timeshare. is this type of ownership transfer possible? is there a name for this type of thing? this is obvious a very generous thing of my friend. never the less is this type of things done?

Maybe not so generous as it might look. There are expenses associated with timeshare ownership, and many people who buy them initially lose interest and stop using them, whereupon the ownership is just a financial burden. Check the owner's obligations to the timeshare association before going into ownership, whether by purchase or gift.
