Fumigation--is landlord liable for a motel/hotel bill?

Our landlord is planning to sell the house we are in. He is also planning to tent up the house for termites. We were told it could take up to a week. Does he a) have to refund the rent for that time and/or b) pay for alternative accomodation?

I think so: one or the other. Your lease gives you the right to occupy continuously.
