Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

No gas for 1 month

I moved into my residence over a month ago and do not have gas at the residence.When i moved in I was told that there was gas going to the residence.My home has a gas tank in the back yard and another company came and pulled the tank and the landloard has yet to get another installed.Do I have the right to ask for money off my rent do to these facts

If the rental agreement says the landlord is to provide gas, you should be able to deduct that from the rent and rent your own tank and have the gas company fill-er-up.
