Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
Hi Gave my roomate a 30day eviction notice and he still has his stuff there. We never had a written contract just a verbal agreement. He hasent lived in the house for at least the last 2 months but his stuff and his 4 dogs that he left behind are still there. What can i do next?

Give him "reasonable" notice that if he doesn't claim his things they will be disposed of. If he then doesn't claim them you can get rid of them, or sell them. But if you sell them you can only keep any actual costs of storage and sale, then the rest is his. So usually better to just get rid of the stuff.
