Grant deed name change

I need to change my grant deed from my married name to my maiden name, this property was bought as my sole property during my divorce and I want to file a homestead but need the grant deed changed so it records accordingly.

you can use a form quit claim deed and have it recorded. Its very simple, form is probably on line or can get at stationary store or from a Real Estate Office/Escrow Office.

You can also go to a title company to have it done, because it needs to be notorized. They will charge a very small fee, and can then record it for you as well.

You just need a grant deed prepared changing the name and recording the deed.
