Re: Grant deed for married couple
I would suggest "community property with the right of survival," which is a relatively newly-created concept of the Legislature, but I also urge every married couple with enough income and wealth to be homeowners to seek out and retain a trusts-and-estates lawyer to do an individualized plan for succession and wealth transfer without probate, excessive taxes, etc.
Truly there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to ong-term financial planning to keep the property and the money in the family, and there are a lot of economical planning lawyers out there to help you.
