Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

HOA in San Diego county ,CA

Our HOA is changing our mailboxes and want us to pay $ 316.66 per house to do it , even if some people refuse they will do it and force us to pay . Is this legal

Probably. One would have to read your agreements and CC&Rs between the HOA and the individual owners, but such costs are routinely assessable to the owners.
