Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My home was auctioned off and I received a 3 day quit, but chose not to move. I have recieved a UD and want to know if I am eligible for tenant rights

No. A tenant is a renter. You were not and are not a renter. Tenants are not the only people who can be sued for Unlawful Detainer. UD simply means you are occupying property without legal right to remain there.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. Technically, you would not even be a tenancy at sufferance, since you were not under any original leasehold.
