Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Home in early stages of short sale with firm offer. Negotiator has been assigned by bank. Title Report just run shows 40K in liens for co-owner (ex domestic partner). Will this reuin the sale or are there any options for getting these off the title report?

You can't get them off the title report without getting them off title. Without knowing anything about the liens, there is no way to say if there is any possibility of getting them cleared without paying them or not.
