Homeowner Disput re enforcement of Homeowner association restriction CC&R

I have been operating a home based business fot the last 10 years. Board of directors over those 10years have had knowledge of that fact. Both directors and residents have used my services. Others have also operated a business from their home. In response to complaints board voted recently to enforce the restriction that prevents operating a business from home. CCP 336 has a five year limitation re enforcement as well as the principal of Laches may be applicable. Please advise
