Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Homeowners Association and Satellite dishes.

I heard there is a law preventing H.A. from denying the owner of the condo the right to put up a satellite Dish, is this true? Were would I find it? We are renters, but the owner has filled out the paperwork the Association asked for and send it in. How long do we have to wait for approval? Or if this is a true law do I need to wait for the H.A. gets back to us. Which I understand they drag there feet when it comes to responding, but if u have a violation they sure react fast. Thank You

Re: Homeowners Association and Satellite dishes.

There are some FCC rulings that do this for ham radio antennas but I'm not sure if it applies to TV dishes. contact a local ham radio club or look around at www.arrl.org
