homeowners assosiation
there are 32 condo units and we are fighting with the assosiation co. with all the stupid rules. the units are 1 year old and we want to know how to get rid of the assos.
is there a local law for us to find a new assosiation.
we have sign. of 29 units to out the assos.we have our first meeting on the 10th..help!

Think of your association like the Congress. You can't replace the U.S. Congress en masse and replace it with, say, the Venezuelan Congress, but the individual senators and congressmen have to be re-elected from time to time. You "get rid" of Congress by voting out the current members.
Same with the association. Check the bylaws and your purchase documents. There is a process for replacement of the current members with people that agree with you (assuming a majority of owners agree!)
Most aspects of condominium governance are controlled by state law.
If there are several owners who would split the cost, getting some professional legal advice would not cost you much individually, and could be very worthwhile.
