if my house has a lien on it from a default of judgment, what actions can be legally done? Can I be forced to sell my house?

You may not even have to sell your house. The judgment creditor can do it for you.

Depending upon the age, size, and legitimacy of the default judgment against you, your best course of action may be to contest the judgment orto pay it, and you may have choices of grounds or strategy within those categories.

However, ignoring your legal problems is probably your worst strategy. The judgment creditor must follow some rules, but in the longer time frame, has the tools to collect the judgment, such as having your house sold out from under you.
