Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

The house I purchased here in San Diego several years ago, has the back framed in by fences on both sides. Each fence is different and each faces the neighbors homes. One side of the fence is falling down due to overgrowth of vines my neighbor refuses to cut away from her side. If her fence completely falls down, do I have any responsibility to replace it with her? Is it only her responsibility?

It depends on who owns the fence. If the fence is entirely on your neighbor's property, she owns the fence. If you want your own fence, you can pay for and build your own.
