Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
My husband and I just had a bankruptcy discharged in Dec. 2009. Unfortunately we had to list the house as surrendered in the bankruptcy filing and we will be going thru the foreclosure process soon. This is a large property and we have a shed with machinery, tools, etc. that we cannot take with us when we move. Can we be charged by the bank for cleaning fees of the property?

Yes. But you can reopen the case and include that in the Bk. Consult your Bk lawyer.
