is it illegal to rent out a home while it is in forclosure and on the market for quick sale?

If you own the property, you have a right to rent it out. If the home is foreclosed upon, the new owner (even if it reverts to the lender and becomes bank-owned) can choose to continue to rent to the tenant, or to evict the tenant.
