Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

illegally signing escrow papers

my brothers ex-wife signed escrow papers as widow. House was tenancy in common. Didn't let exeutor of estate. is this committing fraud.

Could be anywhere from an innocent mistake to a felony, depending upon what the ex-wife knew and intended. However, someone here is probably at fault if there was a bad result; it could be the ex-wife, her broker or agent, the buyer, the escrow company, or who knows? Requires more facts and a top-to-bottom investigation.
