Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Jailhouse Tenant

I have a tenant who has been arrested on charges of assaulting police officers. Must I go through all the painful process of eviction to withdraw his things from my property so that I can rent it to new tenants? Also, am I liable for his possessions?

Re: Jailhouse Tenant
