Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

Landlord entering dwelling

On Friday our apartment management handed out to all tenats a note stating that they would be entering our apartment sometime between Monday and Thursday during regular bussiness hours. They stated on the notice that it was for Apartment Inspection. I called the Mangement today (Sunday) and asked if I could get a specific time so that someone would be home and they said no that they gave over 24 hours notice and that it all. When I asked what they would be inspecting she said it was a required yearly inspection to see if any major repairs are needed. I want to be home when the are here but I can wait here 8 hours a day for 4 days. Can they do this?

Re: Landlord entering dwelling

Yes, although the time window mentioned in the notice seems broader than necessary.

Re: Landlord entering dwelling

they are allowed to enter only at reasonable times. They should be able to give you a time certain.
