Landlord Locking out Tenant After 30 day eviction notice expires
I had a month to month lease. Later on with Landlord's (Ldd) blessing, I sublet part to 2 other tenants. Tenant A (T-A) started provoking Tenant B (T-B). I notified the Ldd on T-A's behavior. Then when T-A would not stop his treatment of T-B, I sent him a 30 day eviction notice. T-A turned around and went to the Ldd who then gave T-B and me 30 days to move out. In our place, T-A became the new tenant. I had Equip. and goods there and pleaded to Ldd to give me extra days to enable me find a storage or w/house. He refused. I started dumping my goods and tried selling my Equip. 3 days after the expiration of the 30day notice, I went with a buyer to pick up the Equip. and found out that I had been locked out. We waited until the new tenant (my former tenant) came and let us in. We started dismantling equip but the weight was heavy. We left for more help. By the time we came back, the whole warehouse had been lock again. Buyer left without equip. He later bought another equip somewhere else. Now he wants me to pay for his time and transport to my w/house. Now I cannot find another buyer. Does Ldd have the right to evict my tenant and sign on to tenant A? Can I hold the Ldd liable for the cost of the equip that buyer was to pay?

If you were locked out before they filed an Unlawful Detainer and Received judgment from Court the landlord has serious problems.

Sunds to me like you have an illegal eviction by your landlord and a pretty good lawsuit. How much money are you out and what is the financial condition of your landlord?-i.e. if your landlord is an individual who "owns lots of property" then your landlord is not worth sueing.
