Can landlord raise rent if girlfriend moves in?
Can my landlord raise my rent by $100 if my girlfriend moves in? I live in a studio and I already pay $450 a month.

Perhaps ... look at your rental agreement. It probably says you have to live there by yourself. It should indicate that there could be an increase if another person moves in.

Normally, the landlord can raise the rent on a month to month tenancy if a 60 day notice of change of tenancy is given.
