Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

My landord (no agency will not be present during our initial inspection in CA. She states "authorized personnel" will conduct the inspection. We did our move in inspection with the landlords, and don't feel comfortable with anyone other than my landlord. I told them our contract is with them/landlords, and reference civil code 1950.5. Doesn't the landlord need to be present to conduct the Initial Inspection?

Landlord is not obligated to be present. The "authorized personnel" person is fine. Just make sure you document everything. Video is a good idea if you're worried.
