If the city sales a peace of land they should let you build or tell you before purchase that you can't biuld. I can't even put a home or billboard, I feel that they stold my money.

There is a reason that the property was a "deal" (I'm just guessing, but given that it was in Redondo Beach, and you bought it without performing adequate due-diligence, it has to have been a deal). Often times a City or County will take a property through eminent domain and essentially make it undevelopable for any number of reasons. It is not the City's responibility to tell you it can't be developed, it is your responsibility to ensure that the property is adequately zoned for what you planned to do with it. Have you read and understand the contract you signed to buy the property? You need to start there because I can almost guarantee that it stated what the zoning was, or what the restrictions were on the property that prohibit you from building on it. Get an attorney to review your contract first, then evaluate whether you have an actual cause of action against the County.

Welcome to L.A. County and be glad they haven't stolen your children yet. I would like to hear more about your situation. Watch out for very short legal time limits for lawsuits against the county.

Re: L.A.robed me.

It is up to YOU to find out the legal parameters and uses of a property before you buy it. Frankly, you have very poor writing skills and it is likely that a lack of education is a factor in your belief that you were a victim... it is not wise to invest in something you do not understand.
